Who we are
Museum
Planning Services Australia (MPSA) is an independent,
Sydney-based museum consulting practice, established in
2000. Between them, staff members have over 25 years of
museum management and curatorial experience and are committed
to providing a high level of service to a wide range of
clients, in either an advisory or project management role.
Museum Planning Services Australia has a strong belief
in the importance of value management within
the cultural sector and strives to provide all clients
with a cost effective service.
MPSA is strongly committed to assisting customers to operate
within a sound ethical, financial and community-minded
framework. Theory and practice are recognised as different
sides of the same coin. Without a commitment by management
to the triple bottom line, museums cannot
serve their audiences nor discharge their responsibilities
effectively, efficiently or appropriately.
MPSA have established strong links with a wide range of industry specialists in fields as diverse as exhibition design & fabrication, conservation, fundraising, multi-media development, marketing, curatorship and project research. These relationships ensure the consultancy can assemble strong, imaginative and well-managed project teams for all types of museum activity.
