Interpretation signage

MPSA has extensive experience in the presentation of historical material, landscapes and streetscapes in a variety of settings. In response to client interest the company has recently undertaken interpretative signage projects in Tenterfield, Tamworth and Jones Bay (Sydney).

At each location MPSA has co coordinated all aspects of the project including research, writing, production and installation. This experience has resulted in the company developing strong links with high quality fabricators which ensures an outstanding product, essential in high traffic areas. The company can also integrate this work with other site interpretation techniques including brochures, guides and computer kiosks.

Collection Documentation

MPSA has undertaken major collection documentation projects (3000 + items) for clients including the National Trust of Australia (WA), the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, the National Trust of Australia(NSW) and Kuringai Council. The company has experience with two major software packages, Vernon and Mosaic.

These projects have been undertaken “on location” and involved all aspects of the documentation process, identification, photography, description, numbering and data entry. Due to this experience, MPSA is very price competitive and able to project manage a quite difficult process on behalf of the client.

Specialist staff and contractors can value add to the process by undertaking statement of significants for both collections and individual items, object valuations and conservation packaging.

Multi Media
